DALL·E 3 Joins ChatGPT, Bing, and Microsoft Designer!

OpenAI is introducing DALL·E 3, the latest version of its text-to-image AI system, promising even greater image accuracy and nuanced responses. This update, set to launch this fall, will be available on ChatGPT Plus, ChatGPT Enterprise, Bing's AI Image Creator, and Microsoft Designer.

What's New with DALL·E 3:

• Previous iterations of DALL·E required users to refine their prompts through prompt engineering. With DALL·E 3, the system is natively integrated into ChatGPT, making it easier for users to interact seamlessly between text and image platforms.

• Users can now treat ChatGPT as a "brainstorming partner" to fine-tune image ideas. If you like a generated image but need minor adjustments, a simple conversation with ChatGPT can produce those changes in just a sentence or two.

Safety Mechanisms:

DALL·E 3 places a strong emphasis on safety mechanisms. It's designed to prevent the generation of violent, adult, or hateful content. Additionally, it won't generate images featuring living public figures or imitate the style of living artists. These safety precautions have been developed with the input of domain experts known as "red teamers."

Developers are actively researching a "provenance classifier" to help users identify AI-generated images, addressing concerns related to misinformation and image manipulation.

When Can You Access DALL·E 3:

DALL·E 3 is scheduled to be available for ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise customers starting this October. OpenAI plans to offer liberal licensing, allowing ChatGPT users to freely use, sell, or merchandise the images they create without requiring permission. Microsoft also intends to add DALL·E 3 support to Bing's AI Image Creator and Designer in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned for this exciting update that promises to revolutionize the world of text-to-image AI!
